little light (for lena)

LITTLE LIGHT

who would put a bird in a box how can u talk to a book how could the sky turn bronze how can u put a man in the ground no duplication, no sun coming out of your skull, no moon coming out of your ear, no little man in your cheek no little girl coming out of your eye no face filling up your whole body the first nite of chanukah ancient pooh songs what did the bird do take a bath, rain, stay on her shoulder all day, ride an umbrella like a boat i got bored, it was a tropical bird eeyore is sad in the suburbs children sail away in upside down umbrella boats he only, everything was not a joke and u cant do anything u want unless u want your one-eyed face smiling off the page into opaque maroon, yellow tape, he only it was a long time ago, no it wasnt people are still alive from those days so he flew there, the woman followed orange sun bouncing in yellow green grass pink pajamas, the whole clan gathers to embrace and obliterate green words take my hand and they lived i know u wanted it to end that way little light, take my hand
